Phew 2022!
All aboard for another New Year! We can’t rave about 2021 as we’ve all experienced more unexpected challenging times. However let us again thank Flora’s wonderful clients for helping us keep afloat and pushing us onwards with love, inspiration and determination to 2022! Once again we were finalists in the Vancouver Magazine’s ‘Made in Vancouver Awards,’ this time for our bare super oil and for our bare fruit acid and papaya serum, definitely 2 of our best selling products with exceptional results!
We were also awarded first place in CertClean Beauty Awards, for our bare romance body cream and were runners up for our bare ylang ylang face scrub! We were so proud of this one as CertClean is among the world's leading certifications for safer beauty products and personal care. Inspired by the goddess of spring, Flora’s bare is aptly named, reflecting the minimal, eco-friendly packaging and clean formulas with no chemicals or fillers.

More exciting news this year, Flora’s Bare is about to go overseas! We were thrilled to receive a grant from Trade Canada and CanExport to export our products to the UK. We have already begun work in preparing the line for the competitive UK market with several spas already keen to try Flora’s winning formulas. As Sarah has family there and is keen to be re-united with them after these challenging few years, she will be leaving this January for several months to work on getting things started in the UK. Co-owner and aesthetician Dawn, and a few newer staff members, will be holding the fort here in Canadian market, so business as usual on that front!
